Indications: UMAN ALBUMIN is indicated as albumin reinstatement in patients with severe albumin deficiency, such as in:

• Emergency treatment of hypovolemic shock.
• Burns.
• Hypoproteinemia with or without edema such as those caused by major surgery, sepsis or in intensive care patients.
• Adult respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS).
• Cardiopulmonary bypass.
• Acute liver failure with or without coma.
• Neonatal hemolytic disease.
• Protein-rich fluid sequestration in conditions such as acute peritonitis, pancreatitis, mediastinitis and cellulitis.
• Erythrocyte resuspension in transfusions.
• Acute nephrosis, such as that which may result from lack of response to cyclophosphamide or steroid administration.
• Renal dialysis.

Indications:

• Prophylaxis of anti-D (Rho) immunization in Rh negative (Rho, D) and Du positive women. Sensitization occurs particularly after childbirth, but can also occur during pregnancy.

Presentation: powder and solvent for solution for infusion of 500 IU/10ml and 1,000IU/10ml.
